Trisuspid Atresia

Abstract

|
Four cases of tricuspid atresia, one girl and three boys were admitted in the department. Ages of the patients were, five months, two years, three years, and three and half years respectively. Cyanosis was noted in all cases. Three cases showed left axis deviation and left ventricular hypertrophy on EKG. Two cases showed marked, pulmonary¢¥ congestion. Glenn procuduce. was done for two cases, who expired due to cardiac, arrest during operation. Pulmonary artery constriction was done for one case who showed pulmonary congestion and pulmonary hypertension: pulmonary artery pressure of 75/50 mmHg. The last case expired. with right heart failure, acute post-operative liver swelling and neck vein¢¥ dilation. One case was a asociated with complete transposition of the great vessels and single ventricle.
